A Brief History
Bedford: In 1931 a brand new name in the commercial vehicle world. A name chosen by a company already established in the car business. A name that in a very short time, became known in many parts of the world. Since 1931 that name has appeared on three million vehicles –vans, trucks, buses and coaches.
The last Bedford was manufactured at Dunstable in approximately 1985
